As a Senior at Danvers High School, I was required to complete 40 hours of community service. However, while I was more than happy to donate my time, finding the right places to volunteer proved difficult. After seeing my peers share similar struggles, I created VolunTeensMA. My goal is for our team to ease the connection between Teens and organizations across Massachusetts so students can gain their community service hours and organizations will receive the volunteers they need to function.

A Senior at Danvers High School who also shared a similar struggle in finding community service opportunities, I joined VolunTeensMA to fix this issue for my peers and I. Moving from East Boston, I remembered a similar issue to that at DHS. When I looked into it more thoroughly, I found that this was a common problem at High Schools all around Massachusetts. I want to ease the process for current and future high school students looking to complete their hours.
